Hello,
I'm Nora, a storyteller at heart currently interning as a narrative designer at Remedy Entertainment. I hold a degree in game design and have earned two awards for narrative design in games. I love narrative-driven games and have a soft spot for innovative ways to convey stories and feelings.
Innovation drives my passion for making games, and I aim to incorporate it into every project I work on. I have always been naturally analytical and organized in my approach, with an out of the box mindset. I enjoy the challenge of problem solving, and I am not afraid to take the time to make sure that something is up to par.
I am greatly inspired by developers who consistently push the boundaries of what games can achieve. Inspired by their works, fellow narrative designer Thérèse Lundqvist and I wrote about how breaking the fourth wall can enhance immersion in our bachelor thesis titled:
Three things about me :)
-
My favorite game is Dragon Age 2 for it's narrative excellence. Ironically, it is known for having poor level design.
-
Last year, I was awarded "Game of the Year," "Best Narrative," and "Best Diversity Effort" at the Swedish Game Awards 2024 for the game Traum alongside the wonderful team Morbid Games.
-
The first game I ever designed was for my pet rat, Plopp. It was an obstacle course made out of lined-up VHS tapes. (I was nine).
